Maintenance Technician/Mixer
Our goal is to ensure an efficient manufacturing process that meets customer requirements. As an experienced maintenance technician, you will oversee and perform maintenance, repairs, installation, and troubleshooting of industrial bakery equipment. Additionally, you will assist with setting up and maintaining production supplies as well as upkeep of the facility. This is a temp-to-hire position.
Maintenance/Mixer Job Details:
- Typically a Monday to Friday position. Possible overtime as needed on weekends based on production needs.
- $20/hour to start
- Hours typically 6AM-2:30PM
- Responsible for the daily running and performing preventative maintenance and repairs on all plant equipment and facilities including wrappers, baggers, conveyer's, ovens, mixing equipment, etc.
- Perform maintenance tasks according to production needs to protect product safety and minimize downtime.
- Support manufacturing demands including working during non-production hours when required
- Setting up and moving production supplies as needed (boxes, pallets, trash, etc)
Maintenance/Mixer Job Requirements:
- Proven experience as maintenance technician
- Basic understanding of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic processes
- Able to diagnose problems, replace, or repair parts, test and make adjustments
- Able to detect faulty operations, defective material, and report those, including any unusual situations to management
- Able to use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties
- Perform a variety of additional maintenance duties such as plumbing and carpentry functions
- PLC knowledge is a plus
- Ability to stand/walk for majority of your shift.
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds
- Must be willing to submit to background check and drug screen prior to starting employment
