POSITION SUMMARY:The facilities Coordinator performs light maintenance tasks and may assist with facility security.ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:•Sweeps, scrubs, and mops all floors, stairs, and elevator as needed.•Vacuums carpets, stairs, and runners as needed.•Cleans waiting area chairs and cleans and sterilizes patient exam rooms as needed.•Performs minor repairs to walls, doors, fixtures, etc.•Keeps track of janitorial supplies.•Performs light electrical repairs and maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs as needed.•Performs outdoor upkeep including sweeping parking lots and shoveling (seasonal).•Maintains awareness of SDS sheets and OSHA standards.•Attends required training courses and performs other duties as assigned.EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:•High School diploma or GED.EXPERIENCE / TRAINING:•Skills in problem solving and planning.•Ability to work with minimal supervision.•Acceptable NYS driver’s license.•Must be available for shift work.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY: N/ATRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to travel to all HHC sites.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to lift/move up to 25 lbs.
