The primary purpose of this position is to perform maintenance tasks and new construction projects at all
company locations.
All activities must support the Firetree, Ltd. mission, strategic goals, and objectives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The position duties and responsibilities listed below describe the general nature and scope of work. Other
responsibilities, duties and skills may be required and assigned, as needed:
- Carry materials and supplies from trucks to job site so they are ready for installation or other
- Ability to perform carpentry, electrical work, plumbing and other specialized skills
- Install cameras, smoke alarms and video monitors
- Maintain security checkpoints, i.e. metal detectors, door latches
- Maintain equipment and machinery to ensure it is safe and in good working order
- Maintain a current list of skilled contractors for emergency use
- Clean up job site at end of day and ensure all equipment is properly secure for the night
- Follow instructions to ensure safety of employees and clients
- Ability to measure and cut lumber or other materials to desired specifications

Education and/or Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of experience as a Maintenance/Construction worker in a multi-location company. An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be considered.
Technical Skills
To perform this job successfully, the employee should be able to successfully operate a variety of applicable hand-held tools and equipment. Must have the ability to learn proper use of other tools and equipment as required by assigned tasks.
Physical Demands
To perform this job successfully, the employee is frequently required to travel to various Firetree properties to perform maintenance work. Daily movements include sitting; standing; reaching and grasping; operating handheld tools and other machinery; moving about the properties; and attending onsite meetings and offsite meetings. The employee must be able to exchange information in person, in writing, and via telephone.
The employee must occasionally transport up to 50 pounds.
Work Environment
Position generally works on Firetree properties, which may cause the employee to experience a range in temperatures and other weather conditions. The noise level may be loud and the environment may be more hazardous than a standard office environment. This position may be required to work with contractors as well as Firetree clients.
