MAINTENANCE WORKER-Sunnyview Hospital-Full Time-Evenings
Position Summary:
Performs skilled and semi-skilled maintenance and non-mechanical equipment as instructed.
Education Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience Requirements:
Two years of field experience and a strong mechanical aptitude.
Principal Responsibilities:
Duties related to the position:
- Answers assigned daily maintenance requests:
- Does assigned preventive maintenance work
- Does construction work when required.
- Displays proficiency in the use of hand and some power tools
- Will assist and do any work related to the functions of the Maintenance Services Department if required.
Quality of Work:
- All work is done in accordance with accepted methods.
- There are no call backs for untidy or unacceptable work
- Produces appropriate output in an orderly and organized fashion; adheres to schedule and meets realistic deadlines
Productivity:
- Stays productive between assigned tasks
- Keeps work and storage areas neat
- Tools and equipment are kept clean and operable
- Work is completed within a time frame acceptable to the supervisor
- Adheres to established procedures and rules; reports for work regularly and timely
Initiative/Resourcefulness:
- Requires minimal supervision
- Learns with ease
- Suggest changes to improve procedures
- Makes independent decisions and judgements when applicable
- Assists others when assigned work is completed
Pay Range:
$17.25 - $25.00
Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
