Maintenance Warehouse Parts Associate

Job Description

Western contractor to the mining industry is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our team in Tucson, AZ. This position is responsible for shipping, receiving, storing, and inventorying materials. Duties also include picking up and delivering parts.

Essential Functions:

• Pick and pack orders
• Data entry
• Receiving and stocking shelves
• Shipping items via common carriers
• Handle emergency parts requests
• Keep a clean and safe working environment
• Maintain a safe working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
• Maintain a positive relationship with coworkers and customers by providing friendly service and by following up when deliveries are made
• Communicate any issues or concerns to management or supervisor
• Follow all safety policies and procedures
• Operate warehouse equipment including pallet jacks, forklifts, hand trucks, etc.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned by management

Requirements:
·Must be able to work on your feet for 8 hours a day, as well as stand, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
·Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
·Must not have a DUI within the past 5 years, no felonies, must be 21 years of age.
·Must have a valid driver’s license for at least 12 months with acceptable driving record.
·Must comply to a background check and drug screen, both are required.
·Warehouse experience preferred (1 year preferred).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.44 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
