Maintenance Electrician
Tiello has partnered with a highly reputable Electrical Contracting Company in Houston, TX on their search for a Maintenance Electrician with skills and experience in managing low voltage automation systems, medium voltage motor control circuits, and high voltage systems.
Job Title: Maintenance Electrician (Commercial)

Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical components and systems, ensuring optimal functionality.
- Conduct tests and evaluations to identify and address electrical issues promptly.
- Work on low voltage automation systems, medium voltage motor control circuits, and high voltage systems with precision.
- Troubleshooting electrical components, wiring diagrams, transformers, motors, motor controls, panels, and electrical/control circuits
- Communicate with supervisors, project managers, and department members to ensure work meets quality and customer expectations.
- Collaborate with the electrical supervisor to plan for necessary materials, tools, authorizations, etc., for efficient completion of tasks.
- Inspect systems, equipment, or components to identify hazards, defects, or repair needs, ensuring compliance with NEC, NFPA, local codes, and customer specifications.
- Maintain a current electrician's license to meet state regulations.
- Adhere to State and Federal codes and safety regulations according to OSHA guidelines
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum 6 years of experience in commercial, industrial, and/or controls electrical work.
- Compliance with the National Electrical Code for installing and repairing electrical systems.
- Proficiency in understanding schematics, blueprints, one-line diagrams, and P&ID’s.
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment.
- Strong commitment to job site safety.
- High standard of integrity and professionalism.
- Valid Electrical License.
