We are currently hiring a Full-Time Optical Team Lead Maintenance Technician III - 1st Shift
*Work schedule is
12 Hour Shifts (Schedules and shift assignments may be subject to change based upon business needs)
Crew 1 = 6:00am to 6:00pm (Sunday, Monday, Tuesday)
6:00am to 12:00pm (Wednesday)

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Supervises all aspects of machine maintenance in the optical manufacturing lab.
  2. Responsibilities include: Maintenance task delegation, monitoring and reporting maintenance KPI goals, and oversees maintenance workshop.
  3. Train all Maintenance Technicians on regular repairs, calibrations and preventative maintenance tasks.
  1. Ensures proper operation of equipment by performing scheduled preventative maintenance.
  2. Performs PM audits to ensure task completion and proper procedures are followed
  3. Monitors and completes all required maintenance tasks within a specified timeframe.
  4. Performs calibration and verify test standards are within required tolerances.
  5. Manages the repair and calibration of key tools and measurement devices inclusive of general calibration.
  6. Keeps inventory by entering in part information into the CMMS
  7. Administers and updates all calibration methods and procedures as required.
  8. Maintains control and traceability related to tooling inside shop and outside vendors.
  9. Communicates to production to leads or supervisor machine updates and machine status and timeframe for repairs.
  10. Actively participates in building a collaborative and productive team environment
  11. Trains on calibration process as needed.
  12. Contacts vendors for support with machine repairs and diagnostics.
  13. Performs installation of all types of optical equipment and works with engineers as needed.
  14. Interprets engineering schematics and procedures used during machine diagnostics
  15. Supports the operational environment by maintaining an OSHA safety standard, there
  16. Assists with building maintenance as needed

Other responsibilities as assigned.
Preferred
Forklift and scissor lift operations licensed and able to perform safely
Technical certification
QUALIFICATIONS
Education
  • Associate or Bachelor Degree on Electrical or Mechanical engineering or related engineering field preferred.

Experience
  • Seven years or more of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have background in optical machinery, automotive or maintenance.
  • Two years or more in a Lead role.
