Overview:

G&A Partners' client is currently seeking a Maintenance Technician to join its team in La Port, TX.
Responsibilities:
- Reads equipment manuals for mechanical PM’s and repair.
- Follows all laws, regulations, and guidelines.
- Maintains a safe and clean work environment.
- Loads and unloads equipment and materials.
- Uses hand and power tools and heavy machinery, follows all safety practices.
- Follows written and verbal instructions from managers and can work on their own as needed.
- Collaborates with coworkers and has strong interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrates strong time management skills, self-motivated.
- Learns quickly and has strong problem-solving skills.
- Handles the physical demands of the job, including standing, walking, climbing, kneeling, bending, and lifting at least 50 pounds.
- Pipefitting and plant maintenance skills. (preferably with 5 years of experience)
- Receive material from vendors and account for material.
Qualifications:
- Proficient with reading blueprints (P&IDs, PFDs, etc.)
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Completion of welding apprenticeship
