Services and Home Services Management reports to our SVP of Operations.

Maintenance Technician Overview
As a Home Services Maintenance Technician, you will report to a Home Services maintenance team lead (or manager) and will enjoy a fast paced dynamic work environment with multiple opportunities for growth. Description/Duties:
- Perform all day to day duties within our in house technology platform(s) and applications.
- Perform services on residential and commercial properties, excluding any work which requires a permit and/or license.
- Assess and report any identified issues | damages, provide accurate estimates and cost-efficient solutions for all repairs.
- Perform routine repair services including but not limited to: plumbing, electrical, hvac, carpentry, appliances, locksmith, painting | drywall, and any other cosmetic or aesthetic repairs.
- Conduct all types of company inspections and common property tasks including but not limited to: placing & removing lockboxes, signs, keys, documents, and any other business needs.
- Perform additional services including but not limited to: landscaping, demo, hauling, dumping, cleaning, etc.
- Create and ensure all invoice details are true, accurate, and cost effective.
Provide all interacting customers and staff with a high level of customer services to help understand and resolve their needs.
- Utilize and manage company credit cards and accounts to purchase parts, materials, and fuel. All credit card purchases must be made for company usage | work orders only.
- Maintain clear and organized records of all purchases with receipts & invoices.
- Utilize and manage local storage units or offices, company tools, parts, materials, and supplies.
- Utilize and maintain all aspects of company vehicle(s) including but not limited to: routine | preventative maintenance, interior | exterior cleanliness, fuel charges, mileage consumption, parking, inventory management, damages, etc.
- Attend required meetings both virtually and in person, if necessary.
- Operate and communicate effectively with both the US and offshore teams.
- Post or serve corporate and legal notices by request, if necessary.
- Represent Poplar Homes at local physical evictions and/or court hearings, if necessary.
- Be available for all business needs Monday - Friday during normal business hours, per the market.
- Be on-call via phone and text on weekends to help mitigate | rectify emergencies and urgent situations.

Desired Experience/Resources:
- 2+ years of experience in residential and/or commercial repairs.
- Certified on HVAC and/or Electrical
- Standard set of residential repair tools.
- Reliable truck, van, or vehicle (initially).
- Clean driving | DMV record.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
