We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our Plymouth team and ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the plant. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repairing and upgrading the equipment used in our manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems.

Your Responsibilities
- Conduct preventative maintenance on atomization equipment including vacuum pumps, metal atomization equipment, cooling water systems, dust collectors, blenders, powder screening equipment, etc.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems, ensuring minimal downtime for production
- Maintain the plant's environmental systems, including air filtration and ventilation systems
- Work closely with production and quality control teams to identify and resolve issues related to equipment
- Install, test, and commission new equipment and systems, ensuring compliance with safety
- Adhere to safety policies and procedures, ensuring a safe work environment for all employees
- Use computerized maintenance management software for daily work order tasking and requests from operations requiring facility support with general maintenance and plant safety issues.
- Help to maintain clean and orderly maintenance shop using 5S methodologies
- Performs other duties as required or requested by supervisors.
- Maintains the grounds and security under direction of supervisor.
- Assist in training other Maintenance Technicians, plant operators and other personnel
- Manage parts inventory, ordering and restocking
- Generate daily shift reports outlining achievements, PM completions and equipment downtime
- Work with engineers/operators to observe, test and evaluate operation of equipment to diagnose failure root cause
Your Profile
- 3+ years maintenance experience. Must be familiar with the general maintenance and repair of building equipment, lighting, electrical power and distribution systems.
- Must have general knowledge and skills to perform basic carpentry, plumbing, and electrical wiring. Must have mechanical ability to assemble and disassemble mechanical systems.
- Must be able to read drawings and transform drawing information from drawing to finished product.
- Must be available to be "On-Call" during off-shift hours, in order to respond to issues that might arise.
- Self-starter with highly developed problem solving skills
- Experience with welding MIG, TIG and Arc
- Experience with Lock-out/Tag-out procedures and hot work permitting
- Experience using CMMS for work orders, maintenance requests, asset management and parts inventory management
- 3+ years maintenance experience. Must be able to troubleshoot and repair electrical controls, be familiar with the general maintenance and repair of building equipment, lighting, electrical power and distribution systems.
- Must have general knowledge and skills to perform basic carpentry, plumbing, and electrical wiring. Must have mechanical ability to assemble and disassemble mechanical systems.
- Must be able to use 60 foot boom lift, scissor lift, forklift that lifts 16 feet.
- Must be able to climb 50 feet of stairs routinely for machine repairs.
- Must be able to read drawings and transform drawing information from drawing to finished product.
- Must be available to be "On-Call" during off-shift hours, in order to respond to issues that might arise.
- Self-starter with highly developed problem solving skills
