The Details:Position Type: SeasonalSeason Dates: May - October 2024Pay: $16.95Schedule: Typical schedule is 40 hours, 5 days/per week (may include weekends, evenings, and holidays)

- Maintains building, performing minor and routine painting, plumbing, and other related maintenance activities.
- Replaces air conditioner filters.
- Notifies management concerning need for major repairs or additions to lighting, heating, and ventilating equipment.
- Cleans snow and debris from sidewalk.
- Mows lawn, trims shrubbery, and cultivates flowers.
- Cleans rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, and locker rooms and other work areas.
- Sweeps, scrubs, waxes, and polishes floor. Cleans rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies.
- Polishes metalwork kick plates.
- Washes walls, ceilings, and woodwork.
- Washes windows, door panels, and sills
- Empties wastebaskets.
- Transports trash and waste to disposal area.
- Replenishes bathroom supplies.
- Replaces light bulbs.
- Transports small equipment or tools between departments.
- Sets up tables and chairs in dining room or EDR.
Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to write simple correspondence.
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
EXPERIENCE
- Three years' experience in Building Maintenance or related technical degree.
EDUCATION
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Physical Requirements include:
Able to be on your feet all day and lift up to 50lbs
