Maintenance Technician Hotel

Quadrangle Management Company is looking for a Hotel Maintenance Engineer with minimum 2-5 years of experience in maintenance. Under direction of the Lead Engineer or Senior Chief Engineer, the Hotel Maintenance Engineer will provide shift coverage to maintain basic systems operation and complete minor repairs to other building components affecting guest services. Will be responsible for maintaining property appearance, equipment and systems, including physical plant and fixtures to ensure guest satisfaction and operational efficiency. Rotating On-Call so some work on nights and weekends.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Respond to all guest requests in a timely and efficient manner

· Complete work order requests in a timely manner

· Daily tickets for repairs

Working with chillers, boilers, VAV boxes

· Maintain all mechanical areas in an orderly and clean condition

· Inspect public areas daily for any issues

· After hours on-call availability if an issue arises

· Must be able to work weekends

· Consistently keep accurate records on file of assigned tasks

· Ensure that all safety systems are operational

· Providing maintenance repairs to guestrooms, public areas and administrative offices

· Repairs may include plumbing, electrical, heating, cooling, ventilation, painting and light carpentry

Abilities required

· Ability to traverse the property, including sloped and uneven surfaces

· Ability to stand and stay on feet for long hours

· Ability to lift, carry, push and pull 50 lbs.

· Ability to climb ladders and stairs

· Ability to manipulate tools

· Ability to perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs and moving the entire body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping and handling materials.

· Minimum of 2 years’ experience in basic Hotel maintenance

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
