Job Description
We are looking for a skilled In-house Maintenance Technician / Handyman to perform upkeep tasks such as repairs and general maintenance on vacation rental properties. You will be responsible for applying basic fixes to equipment and building systems and ensuring facilities are tidy and functional. Being reliable with a keen eye for detail is the first step to getting this job. The ideal candidate will have experience and solid technical knowledge. You must possess manual dexterity and physical stamina.

- This position is full-time, 40 hours a week
- Pay based on experience, on a scale of $18.50 - $21/hour
$40,000 - $50,000 Yearly
Responsibilities:The employee will be responsible for driving themselves to the job sites, which will vary, as well as communicating regularly with the company's Operations Director.
- Perform minor fixes such as repairing broken locks, filling gaps on walls, etc
- Check control panels and electrical wiring to identify issues
- Install appliances and equipment
- Conduct maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs/securing fixtures
- Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems (e.g. ventilation)
- Check functionality of safety systems (e.g. fire alarm)
- Report to the Operations Director for issues that will require specialized work performed by a licensed technician
- Inspect the property for cleanliness to ensure the highest standards are maintained
- Communicate the needs of the cabin to the supervisor/dispatcher
- Deliver WOW service to our cabin owners and guests
- Daily activities require in-field work
- Basic carpentry knowledge
- Basic (handyman) knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems
- Basic knowledge of standard household appliances
- Experience using hand and electrical tools - possession of those tools (they will not be provided)
- Ability to read technical manuals and drawings
- Very good communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical stamina and dexterity
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must have reliable transportation and proof of insurance on the vehicle
- Proven work experience as a Housekeeping inspector or similar role (1+ years)
- Knowledge of cleaning standards and processes
- Detail-oriented
- Excellent communication skills - bilingual in Spanish is a significant plus

- Day shift OR midshift (required 10a-6p OR 12p-8p and rotating weekends)
- Driver's license (required)
- US work authorization (required)
- Maintenance Experience: 2 years (Preferred)
