Maintenance Technician (Grayson/Sandy Hook, Ky Area)

We’re looking to hire a self-starter and dependable Maintenance Technician to join our team in the Grayson/Sandy Hook, KY area. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the daily maintenance needs of the property and units.  Responsible for the grounds upkeep, trash cleanup, unit turns and clean outs, minor plumbing, electrical, painting. Responsible for daily work orders and monthly smoke alarm and filter changes. Maintenance Technicians must provide their own tools, have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.    

Properties/Locations:   

• Logan Trace Apartments - 305 McDavid Blvd., Grayson, KY 41143.
• Elliott Manor - 83 Elliott Manor Street, Sandy Hook, KY 41171.

Job Type: Full-Time (40 hours per week).  

Work Schedule: 8:00 AM-4:30 PM, Mon-Fri.  

Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour, plus a one-time sign-on bonus of $500.  

Qualifications/Requirements:  

• Previous property, apartment or general maintenance experience.
• Basic knowledge of carpentry, dry-wall, painting, plumbing, HVAC, electric, etc. 
• Basic computer skills.
• After hours availability in the event of an emergency.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and climb ladders. 
• Willingness and ability to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check.
