Local Lancaster, Ohio Company seeking Maintenance Technician – Grade 2 to join the team!
Job Overview
• Ability to work rotating shifts, 7 am to 3 pm or 3 pm to 11 pm, including weekends, as needed to support maintenance operations.
As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the overall upkeep, troubleshooting, preventative care, and repairs of our mechanical systems and other manufacturing equipment. Working under general supervision, this position will perform complex (journey-level) mechanical and electronic equipment repair, troubleshoot faults on automated manufacturing equipment, and provide technical and general guidance on equipment.

Key Responsibilities and Other Duties
- Possesses advanced knowledge working with automated manufacturing equipment and ensuring minimal downtime (troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining).
- Perform preventive maintenance on mechanical systems to include disassembly, cleaning, reassembly, and perform adjustments as necessary.
- Analyze machine error messages and information gathered from equipment operators to properly diagnose equipment problems.
- Clean, lubricate, and adjust equipment and machinery.
- Disassemble machinery and/or equipment to remove parts to make repairs.
- Examine parts for defects such as breakage and excessive wear.
- Observe and test equipment operations to diagnose malfunctions and stoppages using voltmeters and other testing devices.
- Operate repaired equipment to verify the adequacy of repairs.
- Reassemble equipment after completion of inspections, testing, or repairs.
