Job Description
- Perform required maintenance and repair on all machinery and equipment as well as building structure.
- Repair, maintain, and troubleshoot equipment and perform planned maintenance of all mechanical aspects of plant, office, machinery, and equipment.
- Adjust and repair clutches, brakes, lubricating systems, paint systems, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and pumps.
- Install new equipment as needed, ensuring it is production-ready and meets all safety guidelines.
- Perform basic electrical work.
- Actively work and participate in safety and improvement projects.
- Be able to provide after-hours support and guidance to the maintenance and engineering teams.
- Perform special assignments and projects as assigned.
- Actively participate in providing a safe and harmonious working environment for all employees.
- Assure compliance with federal, state, local, and corporate governance policies, regulations and laws, AADG programs and policies, and the ASSA ABLOY Code of Conduct.
Skills and Experience Needed:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Completion of a Technical School program and/or a certification of an Industrial Maintenance program is preferred.
- 3+ years of previous industrial maintenance experience required.
- Previous experience or working knowledge of CNC punching machines, lasers, forming presses, hydraulics, pneumatics, etc.
- Ability to troubleshoot PLC programming with RS logic control.
- Previous experience/exposure to reading schematics and drawings. Specifically, electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic.
- Ability to understand mechanical concepts and reason out solutions to problems.
- Previous experience using a work order system.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task and handle tasks with competing priorities.
