Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks to ensure the proper functioning of our facilities and equipment. This is a hands-on position that requires strong technical skills and the ability to work independently.
Duties:
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment and facilities to identify any maintenance needs
- Perform repairs, adjustments, or replacements of faulty components or systems
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues
- Maintain and repair machinery, including troubleshooting and repairing logic controllers
- Weld and fabricate metal components as needed
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
- Assist with the installation of new equipment or systems
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operations
Experience:
- Previous experience in a maintenance role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting
- Strong mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal
- Customer service-oriented mindset with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and external vendors
- Experience working with logic controllers is a plus
- Leadership skills with the ability to supervise and delegate tasks to other team members
