We are seeking an experienced and motivated individual to fill a key position on our Operations team as a Maintenance Technician at our American Canyon, CA location.
The Maintenance Technician must have a focus on safety and urgency while supporting our fulfillment operations. Responsible for supporting the facility by safely maintaining equipment to operate at its highest quality. Assist with diagnosing and repairing simple and complex equipment issues and perform routine maintenance tasks (preventive and corrective). The technician will participate as a safety committee member and adhere to safety guidelines set forth by the company and other regulatory agencies. The technician will also work closely with other departments including inventory, receiving, projects, and production to ensure seamless communication and quick problem resolution.
What you'll be doing:
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on all production and facility equipment as directed.
• Perform preventative maintenance (e.g., inspection, alignment, cleaning, lubrication, lifecycle management) according to the equipment's technical manual and manufacturer's specifications.
• Fixing potential safety hazards to avoid injuries.
• Installation and troubleshooting of production equipment.
• Always work in a safe manner following all established safety rules and regulations.
• Repair and maintain operations mechanical equipment.
• Execute and record maintenance work orders utilizing technology.
• Follow work order process to ensure maintenance structure is effectively followed.
• Maintain all equipment up to standard.
• Constant communication with department leaders for ETA on repairs and maintenance.
• Effectively prioritize daily tasks and execute in an appropriate and timely manner.
• Perform Lock-Tag-Clear-Try procedures on all pieces of production equipment.
• Parts research and order: Look up parts in technical manuals, vendor catalogs and the internet.
• Report items in a timely manner and utilize established repair policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned by Manager.

Candidates must possess highly developed sense of empathy, with a focus on ensuring the best experience for our partners, clients, and the end-consumer.
• Has knowledge and experience in direct-to-consumer fulfilment operations as well as high-quality technical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Has experience with performance metrics and process improvement with demonstrable problem solving skills and investigative skills..
• Must have a minimum High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of increased responsibility and supervisory experience working in a warehouse and/or logistics setting.
• Valid and current CA driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to move and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Forklift / material handling experience a plus.
• Experience working with Warehouse Conveyor system a plus.
• Mechanical experience a plus.
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
• Attention to detail and advanced computer proficiency.
• Fluently bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
