Currently offering a $5,000 SIGN ON BONUS!
Hiring for both day (6:00 AM – 6:00 PM) and night shift (6:00 PM - 6:00 AM). 2-2-3 rotation – 3-day weekend every other week. Starting hourly rate of $25.00 - $33.00 (based on skill and experience) plus a $1.50/hour shift premium for the night shift.
The Maintenance Technician maintains the efficiency of machinery and high-speed automated equipment in a continuous improvement-based environment, while also creating and maintaining a safe work environment. The position is responsible for setting up, installing, repairing, and maintaining production/manufacturing equipment and machinery while inspecting equipment for proper functioning and performing preventative maintenance duties per manufacturer's specifications.

Job Duties
- Diagnose equipment malfunctions and make repairs or adjustments as needed.
- Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility's equipment.
- Perform scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
- Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment.
- Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities.
- Perform mechanic and electronics skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting, and repair of production machines.
- Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
- Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, tests and makes adjustments.
- Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities.
- Perform a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions.
- Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties.
- Detect faulty operations and defective material; reports those and any unusual situations to proper supervision.
- Comply with safety regulations and maintains clean and orderly work areas.
Experience & Qualifications
- Completion of a craft apprenticeship, or an equivalent number of years of education and production maintenance experience
- Minimum of three years of electro-mechanical training /experience in a production/plant environment.; strong hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and industrial skills with PLC troubleshooting and programming experience; experience with mechanical systems (e.g., gear boxes, chains, sprockets, motors, seals, bearings), product manuals (e.g., reading and applying knowledge to make repairs), troubleshooting mechanical breakdowns (pinpointing and fixing breakdowns), and reading mechanical drawings (e.g., hydraulics, pneumatics)
