Under general direction, this position is responsible for general preventative maintenance, repairs, service work, and troubleshooting malfunctions of equipment in a designated territory on a daily basis. Also responds to emergencies as needed. Report to the Facility Maintenance Supervisor.
Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks
- Respond to service calls dispatched in your territory.
- Recognize common service problems and be able to fix the problem.
- Use tools ranging from common hand and power tools, such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches, to precision measuring instruments and electrical testing devices.
- Maintain and repair beverage equipment such as Fountain units, FBD/FCB units, Coffee/Custom Café units, Cappuccino units.
- Maintain and repair food equipment such as roller grills, bun warmers, fryolators, etc.
- Light Plumbing which includes clearing clogged drains, toilets, etc.
- Light electrical construction.
- Change gas hoses and nozzles as needed.
- Manage and close work orders on Titan.
- Record maintenance and repair work performed.
- Track inventory and parts used at sites.
- Keep truck organized and stocked.
- Responsible for Non-Billable Time such as meetings, truck maintenance and callbacks.
- Attend and participate in professional group meetings; maintain awareness of developments in the field of facility maintenance.
- Assist all members of maintenance in their area when needed.
- Assist with store openings and closings.
- Start up and install new equipment in the stores.
- Participate in the on- call rotation.
- Perform related duties as required.
Qualifications
- Have general knowledge of beverage equipment, grills, and fryers.
- General plumbing, carpenter, and electrical knowledge are essential.
- Must be able to read a multi- meter.
- Must be self motivated, have the ability to learn quickly, and be able to troubleshoot equipment.
