At our Banks Crossing facility we are part of the Meat division where we create hundreds of different products for Kerry and our retail customers. We have an immediate opening for a 3rd Shift Maintenance Technician. Working Monday - Friday, the hours will be from 11:00pm - 7:00am.

The role of Maintenance Technician will be to ensure optimal availability of production equipment, while meeting production, safety, budgetary and process improvement requirements. This position will support operations by maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing and optimizing all manufacturing and facilities equipment. Responsible for production and facility equipment installation, modification, and maintenance. Including wiring, troubleshooting, PMs of automated assembly lines, assembly fixtures, and plant equipment as directed by the Maintenance Manager. - High School Diploma or GED required, bachelor's degree in an applicable field (process engineering, mechanics, etc.) preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Maintenance Technician, experience working in a manufacturing environment & food/beverage experience is highly preferred.
- Self-directed and able to work with minimal direction.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills.
- Good communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
- Possess and demonstrate basic technical knowledge of some or all of the following:
- Hydraulic and Pneumatic knowledge
- Stainless Steel Welding/Fabrication
- Ability to be or become or is a Sanitary Certified welder. (Outside certification)
- Piping systems
- Electricity - a plus
- PLC's (Programmable logic controllers) - a plus
- Process control instrumentation
- HVAC systems
- Process equipment
- Personal Computing
Salary:
The typical hiring range for this role is $31 to $39 per hour and is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications. This position may also be eligible for a shift differential and/or overtime. In addition to your pay, Kerry offers benefits such as a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and retirement contribution (all benefits and incentives are subject to eligibility requirements).
