ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure all production equipment is maintained and in working order.
- Perform reactive, predictive and preventative maintenance within the facility, to include but not limited to
lubrication, inspections, and repair of equipment. - Troubleshoot and repair machinery, electrical components, pneumatic equipment, and hydraulic equipment;
- Fabricate equipment using arc and gas welding techniques as needed.
- Observe mechanical & electrical devices in operation to locate causes of trouble.
- Dismantle devices to gain access to and remove defective parts.
- Adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments.
- Repair or replace defective parts. Lubricate and clean parts.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Proficient mechanical & electrical skills are required, in addition to basic mathematical skills.
- Blueprint reading skills, knowledge of the NEC 70 (national electric code), and knowledge of OSHA CFR
1910.217 is needed. - Experience with various measuring instruments, multi-meters, amp probes, thermocouples, torque wrenches is required.
- In-depth knowledge and practical application experience in electrical, electronics, PLC's, cutting/welding
hydraulics, pneumatics, and conveyor systems is required. - Strong knowledge of Preventative Maintenance procedures is required.
- Required computer skills include but are not limited to: data entry into the CMMS (computerized maintenance management system) and use of PLC programming tools.
- Experience with RS Logix, RS Linx, and RSPanel builder is a plus.
- Ability to apply sizing and selection of: conduits, wiring, circuit breakers, fuses, drills and taps is required.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret data are required.
- Self-motivation and a demonstrated ability to work independently with little or no supervision are required.
- Strong teamwork and oral/written communication skills are required.
- Good attendance and safety record is required.
- Flexibility and willingness to work overtime, off shifts, and weekends is required.
