Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Maintenance Technician to play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of a food manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial maintenance, with a focus on minimizing downtime, preventing equipment failures, and maintaining a safe working environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Conduct routine maintenance on production machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks according to the established schedule to prevent equipment failures and extend machinery lifespan
- Ability to repair and replace bearing, gearboxes, shafts, and seals
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment and machinery
- Knowledge of programmer logic controller (Allen Bradley 5/15 and SLC 500 series)
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to prioritize tasks and manage work orders efficiently
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3 to 5 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician in a food manufacturing or industrial setting
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints
- Knowledge and skills in pneumatics and hydraulics
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Must be willing to work in a production environment requiring safety glasses, hair/beard net, hearing protection, and rubber boots with safety toe
