We are looking for a full-time Maintenance employee at our Spring Hill Recovery Center located in Ashby, Massachusetts. Spring Hill is a residential treatment facility located on 70 acres of

Pay: $30 per hour based on experience, plus overtime potential.
Job Summary: Facilities Management is responsible for supervision and performance of building and property maintenance of a 70 acre 7 building property with maintenance sheds and various tools and equipment. Supervise a staff of two full time maintenance laborers. Work closely with facility management and outside contractors.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Supervision of maintenance staff
- Ordering of material, equipment and supplies
- Safety compliance programs OSHA and State regulatory familiarity
- Maintain all equipment and keep a detailed log of dates and maintenance that was performed
- Lawn care, including sprinkler service and maintenance
- Responsible for snow removal, ensuring a safe environment
- Responsible for successful preparation of annual inspections (i.e.: fire alarms, fire department, building department)
- Work is performed in a hospital/rehabilitation setting where privacy is the utmost importance Employee shall not share client information on anything within their job performance with anyone outside of the organization. HIPAA compliance and confidentiality is required.
- Solicit and maintain estimates and contracts for tree service, generator maintenance, water system maintenance, carpentry, electrical. plumbing and other services as needed.
- All other facility related duties as required
Experience:
- 3+ years of Property Maintenance or related experience
Required Qualifications/Licensure & Certifications:
- Valid Driver's License
- Trade licenses and experience are a plus (plumbing, HVAC, or electrical)
- General carpentry experience
- General landscape experience
- Supervisor experience as a manager, supervisor, foreman, etc.
- Small engine equipment familiarity
- Ability to work in an environment that prioritizes safety or residents and employees
Physical Nature of the Job:
- Ability to lift or lower heavy items (50lbs)
