Channeled Resources Group is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician for our Marathon facility on open shift.
Role of Maintenance Technician:
- Work safe, follow company safety policy and set example for others;
- Troubleshoot mechanical breakdowns;
- Solving mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic issues on various production and facility equipment;
- Reading, analyzing and interpreting technical procedures, electrical schematics, blueprints, service manual, and work orders to perform required maintenance work;
- Using CMMS to log maintenance work;
- communicating existing and potential issues with your supervisors and team members; most often maintenance manager or facilities manager;
- handling assigned work orders and PMs (inspections, oil changes, meter reading, etc.);
- Performing a variety of routine maintenance tasks;
- Cleaning and maintaining the tools you work with;
- (Dis) assembling/installing new machines, condition monitoring, sensors, equipment, etc.;
- Respond to 24-hour emergency calls. Be part of an on-call support rotation once knowledge of equipment is sufficient;

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma;
- Any additional relevant certification will be considered an advantage (HVAC, CMRP, etc.);
- Previous working experience as a Maintenance Technician for 3 years minimum required, 5+ years preferred;
- Experience with paper or plastic film processing equipment preferred;
- In depth knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods;
- Problem solving aptitude;
- Advanced understanding of electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems;
- Applicable knowledge of basic tools, common appliances and devices (forklifts, mult-meters, drill press, lathes and milling machines, etc.);
- Manual dexterity and attention to detail;
- Available to work overtime including weekends, public holidays and evenings;
Shifts:
- 1st Shift: 6:30 am - 2:30 pm/Monday thru Friday
- Overtime is scheduled as needed
