We're currently seeking a skilled Apartment Maintenance Technician to join our team at a dual-site apartment community. As an integral part of our team, your duties will encompass unit turnovers, addressing service requests covering plumbing, air conditioning, heating, groundskeeping, curb appeal enhancement, on-call responsibilities, and executing preventative maintenance tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Efficiently complete work and repair orders within designated timelines
- Assess and estimate the scope and time required for repairs
- Carry out routine preventive maintenance tasks
- Manage inventory of materials and supplies
- Supervise and coordinate work conducted by external contractors as needed
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in apartment maintenance or similar roles
- Proficiency in plumbing, electrical work, appliance maintenance, drywall repairs, carpentry, and pool/spa upkeep
- Familiarity with various maintenance tools and equipment
- Capability to manage physically demanding tasks
- Strong focus on meeting deadlines and attention to detail
- HVAC experience and/or EPA certification is advantageous (preferred)
