Bestlogic Staffing, a leading staffing agency in CT, is seeking a skilled Maintenance Tech for their client for a temporary position on the 2nd Shift. As a Maintenance Tech, you will be responsible for maintaining the equipment and facilities of our client's manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on machines and equipment to ensure proper functioning and prevent breakdowns

- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues

- Perform preventive maintenance tasks according to schedule

- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and report any issues or concerns to the supervisor

- Assist with equipment installations and modifications as needed

- Maintain a clean and organized work area

- Follow all safety protocols and regulations

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a maintenance role, preferably in a manufacturing environment

- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills

- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical manuals and schematics

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time

- Flexibility to work overtime and weekends when needed

- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
