Maintenance Team Leader

Salary: $36.45 per hour

Must be able to work 2nd or 3rd shift. Onsite only, no remote


Job Description Maintenance Team Leader


To successfully guide the department in achieving the division's aims and objectives. Performs the following tasks either directly or through a designated direct or indirect team in order to direct, coordinate, and exert functional authority for the planning, organization, control, integration, and completion of engineering and maintenance projects at the facility.

Implement a preventative maintenance program and coordinate all corrective maintenance tasks to advance uptime improvement initiatives.

Ascertain that the right personnel, instruction, equipment, and maintenance strategies are in place to maximize equipment availability in the most cost-effective way.

Drive root cause discovery and maintenance reduction/elimination actions in close collaboration with members of the Press Team and other departments.

Ensures accurate and prompt KPI and performance reporting; develops and starts lasting remedial actions when deviations occur; and assesses the efficacy of execution.

Keep your business management system up to date to support ISO/TS16949 and ISO 14001

Responsible for ensuring that plant and equipment abide with all environmental, OSHA, and other federal or state laws pertaining to health and welfare.

30 minutes before the start of your planned shift, report to work.

Key Requirements and Qualifications Maintenance Team Leader


Responsibilities in Supervision

Directs the work of the Maintenance crew.

Knowledge and/or Experience


GED or high school diploma

Must currently hold a Maintenance Tech II or higher work classification.

Four (4) years, minimum Preferably with maintenance expertise

Preferably with at least four (4) years of supervising experience

Knowledge, abilities, and skills


shown expertise in operations, manufacturing, engineering, and quality control.

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Excellent presenting, oral, and written communication abilities with the capacity to address inquiries from both internal and external clients.

Strong analytical abilities; strong data management skills.

Business savvy and the capacity to use good judgment when carrying out daily tasks.

capable of defining, carrying out, and/or leading process improvement activity.
