Maintenance Supervisor Night Shift

2nd Shift hours 6PM 2AM
BASIC FUNCTION:
Provides leadership to a team of employees that are responsible for the maintenance of all manufacturing equipment, tools and support equipment to realize a company profit. The safety of that team and maintaining a high level of housekeeping is essential.
Maintenance Leadership and Responsibilities
- Supervise parts room staff
- Maintain parts room inventory through SAP inventory control of in-line machines
- Organize Parts room with lean principals
- Identify Critical Parts to maintain machine up-time.
- Analyze min/max quantities and schedule Spare parts
- Identify Obsolete components and coordinate with OEM for upgrades
- Expedite all emergency parts and repair services to eliminate machine downtime
- Convert purchase requisitions to purchase orders using SAP
- Maintain open PO report in accordance to Maxxvault to maximize vendor credits
- Evaluate equipment and maintenance requirements, document maintenance procedures
- Manage maintenance work flow processes required to maintain an accurate maintenance database (Work Orders, Part Consumption and PM Sheets)
- Review and adjust Maintenance paperwork to be BRC compliant.
- Maintain data within SAP—track maintenance work order status, preventive maintenance (PM) performance
- Create reports as it pertains to machine downtime and part consumption
- Work with production scheduling to set PM schedule of equipment
- Assign number of mechanics needed and timeline of PM
- Assist operational excellence to streamline processes as required
- Utilize 4DX to improve shop and maintenance activities
- Cover for Maintenance Manager when unavailable
- Assist on Plant Start-ups and Shutdowns
- Contact for Alarm System
- Order Chicken Roaster Labels
SAP support
- Assist with production work order consumptions
- On-site SAP training
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- Must be able to communicated in English
- An in-depth, detailed knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical process.
- Must be particularly strong in electrical troubleshooting. Knowledge of paper converting/corrugated is also preferred.
- Detailed knowledge of electrical circuits and controllers, including troubleshooting of AC-DC-PLC, Motors, Systems, and Controllers.
- Ability to read and work from prints, both mechanical and electrical.
- Has the knowledge and skill to use a variety of hand and power tools as well as shop tools.
- Analytically oriented to troubleshoot and establish root cause of problems.
- Must be capable of bending and lifting tool parts and machine equipment up to fifty pounds
- Able to push, pull or carry light loads.
