Job Description
The role of Industrial Maintenance Supervisor is pivotal in managing and leading the maintenance operations within our industrial facility. This position demands a blend of technical acumen, leadership prowess, and a dedicated approach to maintaining the seamless operation of all equipment and machinery.
Shift: 7:00am-3:30pm with 1-2 weekends per month.
Pay: $80,000-$85,000 with a 7.5% bonus
Key Duties:
- Direct and guide a team of maintenance technicians, ensuring efficient and timely completion of maintenance duties and projects.
- Design and enforce a preventative maintenance schedule to reduce downtime and enhance the reliability of equipment.
- Perform routine inspections of all machinery, equipment, and facility areas to preemptively identify and rectify any potential issues.
- Liaise with the production and operations departments to plan maintenance work in a way that least affects the manufacturing schedules.
- Keep detailed records of all maintenance activities, including the management of work orders, logs of equipment maintenance histories, and the inventory management of spare parts and materials.
- Educate and mentor maintenance staff, boosting their skills and overall performance.
- Adhere strictly to safety standards and corporate policies during maintenance operations.
- Diagnose equipment malfunctions swiftly and deploy effective corrective measures.
- Work in cooperation with external vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance or repair works.
- Evaluate and refine maintenance processes and practices continually for operational excellence.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field is highly preferred.
