Job Description
Ag Processing, Inc (AGP) is currently seeking dynamic candidates for a Maintenance Superintendent! Come join our fast-paced, positive environment to supervise direction of the maintenance and instrumentation work while also monitoring and maintaining warehouse inventory.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily maintenance department activities through training employees, determining methods for employee work, scheduling, and conducting employee performance appraisals.
- Monitor and maintain warehouse inventory, including completing purchase orders for ordering parts and supplies.
- Review work orders, assign personnel for fulfillment, and enter documentation into computer.
- Inspect and maintain equipment operations.
- Use INFOR System to enter, track and update work orders and Preventive Maintenance schedules.
- Participate in the Process Safety Management Mechanical Integrity Team to enhance safety and efficiency within the Facility.
- Write reports, including subordinate time sheets, maintenance reports and accident reports.
- Attend company meetings and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements
- College/ Technical School degree preferred, high school diploma or equivalent required.
- Two years of maintenance and supervisory experience or equivalent preferred
- Knowledge and/or experience in soy processing preferred.
- Knowledge of mechanical and electrical principles and practices.
- Solid experience with using supervisory techniques to accomplish instruction, training, and motivation employees.
- Problem solver with analytical thinking and strong organizational skills.
- Able to operate equipment including industrial machinery and hand and power tools in addition to various office equipment including computer and printer.
- Fluent in Microsoft Office Word and Excel and experience with AutoCAD.
- Ability to effectively function as a team player and with diverse individuals and groups.
- Ability to remain flexible and responsive when faced with multiple urgent requests.
- Demonstrated courteous, professional communication skills.
