Summary
This position performs the functions of shipping and receiving, material handling, inventory management and record keeping for incoming and outgoing shipments. Stores and distributes material, tools, equipment and products within the warehouse, ensures accuracy and timeliness of all job functions; verifies and keeps records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment, restocking shelves, and keeping a neat and orderly parts storage area.
Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Receive products from vendor deliveries, review, verify & process packing slips and vendor documentation, stock parts & supplies.
- Compare packing lists to company purchase orders and ensure that the products in each delivery match the packing list.
- Update the product inventory as products are received and added to our inventory.
- Package products for return to vendors and fill out any RMA paperwork necessary prior to the shipment being picked up.
- Maintain Inventory in a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS)
- Maintain daily, weekly, monthly inventory control reports.
- Performed and tracked data entry of any changes to inventory in to the computer system.
- Maintain parts warehouse by assigning bin locations, performing cycle counts of inventory, maintain cleanliness of work areas.
- Utilize Maximo CMMS system to look up parts for service repair orders.
- Stocking new shipments of parts, chemicals & supplies.
- Responsible for assisting mechanics in finding the parts they need to perform proper PM procedures, utilizing parts in stock.
Minimum Education
High School or equivalent.
Experience Requirements
Strong computer skills including Microsoft Outlook and Excel. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Strong organizational, problem solving and analytical skills. Ability to manage priorities and workflow. Versatility, flexibility and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities. Acute attention to detail. Prior parts experience would be favorable.

Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements
Position is active. On the plant floor activities such as troubleshooting and re-design of existing systems are routine. May need to move equipment occasionally; ability fo lift, push or pull up to 50 lb boxes and materials. May need to access files, supplies and equipment. Position requires an associate to have the ability to move throughout the complex and all facilities. When in a plant environment: Exposure primarily consists of wet and moist floors which include metal and plastic grating surfaces. May be exposed to temperatures of 28 degrees to 100 degrees Fahrenheit with both ambient and 100% humidity. May handle product 25 degrees to 50 degrees Fahrenheit. May be exposed to noise ranges of 50 db to 110 db. May be exposed to all chemicals used in pork, food, processing facility. Must wear and use protective and safety equipment required for the job as directed by the Company.
