SalaryDescription:AMHC is searching for a Full Time Maintenance Specialist in the Central Area. The primary responsibilities of the* Maintenance Specialistare to maintain the physical plant of agency sites throughout our service area. The chosen candidate will be expected to demonstrate the core values* of AMHC by showing Integrity, Compassion, Excellence, Service, Collaboration, and Respect to co-workers, clients, and community members
Responsibilities & Expectations
- Maintain the* Integrity* of AMHC properties by performing inspections for safety, cleanliness, and regular maintenance issues.
- RespectfullyCollaborate with external contractors when needed to coordinate maintenance activities, complex repairs, and specialized projects
- Demonstrate AMHC's focus on Excellence by maintaining a scheduled Presque Isle facility cleaning regimen.
- Provide a Compassionate and welcoming environment to all individuals and maintain a Service-focused atmosphere.
Schedule:
- This is a 40-hour-per-week non-exempt position
Requirements:
- Experience with general maintenance, cleaning, and repair of common building structures, appliances, and other equipment is a must
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- be able to lift 50 pounds
- Basic carpentry, plumbing, and electrical skills
