Description

In this role, you will be part of a team of Reliability Engineers to improve MTTR/MCBF metrics using a data and systems-based approach to identify opportunities to maintain OEE glidepaths and other metrics. The Reliability team is a support organization of equipment Subject Matter Experts, specializing in root cause analysis, data consolidation, preventative/predictive maintenance systems and technologies, processes, and troubleshooting techniques. As the Reliability Eng, your role will to support completion of projects on time and within budget, while continuing to expand the effectiveness of the Maintenance organization by reducing unexpected downtime.

What You'll Do:

  • Manage the plant TPM program
  • Maintain reports to track overall health of the Maintenance department (KPIs, Utilization/Downtime, failure analysis, etc…)
  • Collaborate with the other Maintenance members to assist with planning/scheduling improvement initiatives
  • Utilize Maximo CMMS to track all Maintenance activities and screen data for improvement initiatives
  • Drive improvement of equipment using Root Cause Analysis and Reliability Centered Maintenance
  • Accountable to plant KPIs, spare parts/stocking strategies, and supporting the Maintenance monthly budget

Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications) :

  • Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent experience (engineering degree preferred).
  • Must be able to work independently, with an emphasis on looking ahead to anticipate failures, analyzing data, and a drive to make systems and equipment more efficient
  • High degree of problem solving skills & experience in Continuous Improvement activities
  • High level of oral/written communication & presentation skills
  • Highly skilled in task management and prioritization.
  • Desire to identify where systems/programs are failing, and be able to develop innovative solutions to improve the overall operation.
  • Delegation and maintaining accountability of the team’s workload
  • High level of interpersonal skills to effectively work with others and in a team environment
  • Highly proficient in usage of computer systems such as Maximo, Microsoft Office, COGNOs Analytics, SAP
  • In-depth knowledge of the principle and implementation of various predictive maintenance technologies (vibration analysis, infrared, ultrasonic monitoring, fluid/oil analysis, etc..)
  • Desire to learn and constantly improve skills and knowledge
  • Ability to adapt, learn, and train employees to ever-changing technologies and systems
  • Ability to not only see things how they could be, but to have the mindset to effectively plan and communicate the path to get there
