Maintenance & Pool Operations Technician

APPLICANT MUST HAVE CURRENT SOUTH CAROLINA CERTIFIED POOL OPERATOR CREDENTIALS.

Nationally: $17.30 - $18.10/hour

OTO Development is pleased to announce a wonderful opportunity for a Maintenance and Pool Operations Technician.

What will you be doing most days?

• Maintain guest experiences by delivering exceptional service.
• Maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization in the waterpark area
• Repair and maintain pool equipment, proper circulation, cleaning and balanced pool chemicals.
• Perform and log daily chemical readings for all pools.
• Ensure that all equipment, railings, ropes, pumps, etc. are in good working order.
• Help procure chemicals, equipment, and supplies as needed.
• Clean and sanitize swimming pool (includes cleaning pools, cleaning filters, skimming pool surfaces, vacuuming pool, checking that chemicals in pool are at ideal levels and adjusting chemicals if needed)
• Comply with all safety and health department procedures.
• Wear provided brand-standard uniform, identification, required footwear, and protective equipment to prevent injury
• Adhere to all safety and security guidelines regarding equipment safety, guest safety, and safe chemical handling
• Assist in a wide variety of preventative maintenance duties when needed.

What are the requirements for this position?

• Preferred at least 1-year experience with multiple pools operations & aquatics.
• Current CPO (Certified Pool Operations)

Physical Requirements for this Position

This is a physically demanding position. You must be comfortable standing, sitting, walking, bending, lifting, and squatting for extended periods of time.

Travel Requirements

This position will require little to no travel outside the property and surrounding areas.
