Maintenance Parts Clerk

Zachary Confections, Inc. is a well-established and growing family-owned candy manufacturer in Frankfort, IN selling to retailers and distributors. We are looking for an experienced Parts Clerk to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving, stocking, and distributing parts and materials. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to gain experience in a fast-paced environment and help our organization run smoothly.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Receive and process incoming parts orders
• Maintain accurate records of parts inventory
• Organize and store parts in designated areas
• Recognize and discuss parts and descriptions
• Check incoming parts for accuracy and quality
• Keep track of parts usage and order new parts as needed
• Inspect and test parts for defects or damage

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Familiar with full-range of mechanical, electrical, and electronic replacement parts
• Detail oriented
• Strong communication skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to communicate with and through vendors
• Ability to multitask
• Proficient with PC and tablet
• Ability to read and understand parts manuals and prints
• Ability to lift 50 pounds or more
• Must have good attendance
