GENERAL OVERVIEW
Performs duties in HVAC, electronics, carpentry, electrical, plumbing or structural maintenance.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performs duties of Maintenance Mechanic such as but not limited to installing/repairing equipment pertaining to the operation of plant; renovating/constructing buildings and grounds; corrective/preventive maintenance on machinery, equipment and facility; snow and ice removal and ground maintenance. (40%)
- Performs electrical, plumbing, carpentry, structural, HVAC maintenance based upon area of expertise.(60%)
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum
- 3 years experience in one or several building trades in a hospital setting preferred.
Preferred
- Technical training in area of specialty preferred.
- Certificate in HVAC and stationary engineer's license preferred.
