Tradesmen International is immediately hiring skilled Maintenance Mechanics for projects located in and around Akron, NY. This job offers multiple shifts with a pay rate of $22-30/hour based on experience & skill level. Job Scope:
Work with mechanical equipment such as lathes, mill, drill, press, saws, grinders. etc.
Burn & weld MIG, TIG, Stick, Metal fabrication & pipe fitting
Perform basic measurements
Machine disassembly & reassembly
Other tasks as assigned
Requirements:
3+ Years of Experience as an Industrial Mechanic
NYS Approved Millwright Apprenticeship or 2 Year Degree in Mechanical Engineering
HS Diploma or GED Equivalent
Hazmat Certification
Must be Forklift Certified or obtain Certification
NY State Valid DL
Ability to read Blueprints & Schematics
Proficiency with Electrical Meters/Multi Meters
Proficient with Mechanical Equipment; lathes, mill, drill press, saws, grinders, etc.
Familiarity with basics of Fluid Control; pumps
Ability to work with Chemicals, Paints, Solvents, etc.
Ability to lift up to 50lbs
Mathematical Skills &Mechanical Skills
Ability to wear a Respirator
Proficiency with Hand Tools & Power Tools
Ability to work at heights
OSHA 10
Proper PPE
