Maintenance Mechanic Helper Trainee (Amp)

This position is located in the Architect of the Capitol, Library Buildings and Grounds (LBG), Facilities Operations Division, Maintenance Branch. The Maintenance Mechanic Helper Trainee performs entry level tasks in support of installing, assembling, repairing and maintaining water and drainage systems throughout the LBG. As required, the trainee assists other trade shops in the Division with basic maintenance and repair work in electrical, air conditioning (A/C) and plumbing.

You must meet the following SCREEN-OUT(S) required for this position.

• Ability to perform work in mechanical trade occupations without more than normal supervision; specifically maintenance and repair of mechanical, heating, air-conditioning (HVAC), electrical, plumbing and fire sprinkler work.
