Essential Functions:
- Install, repair and perform preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment in a fast paced environment with progressively less supervision.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment ensuring equipment is in good repair and safe operating condition
- Perform electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, welding and plumbing activities with minimal supervision.
- Work in a safe manner, in compliance with Company, State and Federal GMP’s, SOP’s and Administrative Policy and Procedures
- Ability to work overtime as needed
- Possess own tools
- Safety is vitally important not only at our facility but also from a personal standpoint. Employees are responsible for understanding and following all safety procedures. Likewise, food safety is a key performance indicator. Understanding this, GMP and housekeeping procedures are to be followed as part of any job at our facility.
General:
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Execute assigned duties with minimal supervision.
- Perform assigned duties satisfactorily and on time.
- Perform assigned duties following “Good Manufacturing Practices.”
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Perform all other related duties as assigned.
Requirements/Qualifications:
- A High School or Trade School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with Lock Out / Tag Out and Confined Space Entry programs.
- Haz-Mat Technical Level Training
SQF Requirements/Responsibilities:
Support SQF by:
- Maintaining food safety and food quality through completing job tasks and maintaining the work area in a sanitary manner.
- Report food safety problems to personnel with authority to initiate action.
- The monitoring of incoming services
- Properly documenting tasks
- Completing Preventive Maintenance and Work Orders as required.
