The Kitchen Mechanic is responsible for the maintenance of back of house areas including kitchen, laundry, electrical, and mechanical systems. Individual must possess a strong background and knowledge of such systems. Previous engineering/maintenance experience is required, preferably in a hotel environment. This position will perform repairs and preventative maintenance on commercial kitchen and other mechanical equipment within our three properties. Minimum 3 years of experience is required, with trade school training and factory training preferred. Good communication skills are necessary for this role. Open availability is preferred. Qualifications
- Candidate must have strong customer service skills are and a true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
- Candidate must have open availability and be able to work mornings, evenings, overnights, weekends and holidays as required to ensure coverage of the engineering department and the ability to maintain hotel equipment
- Must have good verbal and written communication skills and have basic computer literacy
- Ability to walk, stand, kneel, crawl, bend, stoop, climb ladders, grasp, push/pull/lift/carry heavy loads up to 50lbs alone and up to 75lbs with assistance
- Reliable and able to work independently
