We are currently looking for a Mechanic to help to help repair and maintain diesel and gas powered trucks in our fleet and also fill trucks with chemicals in the afternoon. The ideal candidate has a strong work ethic and is eager to learn as no experience is necessary and we will provide all training through the company. You must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving history for the last three years and be able to pass a drug test and background check.
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm

Responsibilities for a Maintenance Mechanic:

• Perform scheduled and preventive maintenance to production equipment, fleet vehicles and specialized equipment
• Maintain service/repair records
• Respond to vehicle and equipment breakdowns in the field as needed
• Perform oil changes, brake jobs, small and large engine repair and refurbishing equipment
• Work on other various projects as needed
• Fill trucks with appropriate liquid and dry chemicals each day, including properly measuring the amount of chemicals to make sure products are mixed correctly
• Track inventory, product usage, and equipment daily
• Maintain truck and equipment by cleaning daily and storing properly

Qualifications for a Maintenance Mechanic:

• Ability to maintain and personify our core values - positive attitude, customer first, professionalism, dedicated, and have a desire to succeed
• Valid Driver's License
• 3 years of a clean driving record
• Good verbal and written skills
• Ability to lift in excess of 50lbs repeatedly to fill trucks
• Ability to effectively and correctly measure liquid and dry products to go in spray units
• Detail-oriented and able to work independently
• Be able to pass a background check
• Must have excellent attendance
• Problem-solving skills
• Must have previous experience with large and small engines
• Previous experience with diesel engines preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: From $16.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Charlotte, NC 28269: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
