                                                  4x4 Schedule (4 on / 4 off)

                                                  6:00am to 6:00pm or 6:00pm to 6:00am

Shift Premium:           Night shift - $1.00/hour extra

Job Summary: 

As a maintenance technician you will be responsible for repairs and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment such as engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and aluminum extrusion production machines and equipment by performing the following duties.

Required Education/Experience

• Two years of maintenance experience

Preferred Skills/Qualifications:

• Two-year Technical degree in Electrical, PLC's, Hydraulics & Pneumatics
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Bilingual is in English/Spanish preferred
• Previous Manufacturing experience preferably in an industrial setting
• Knowledge of various maintenance hand tools, mechanics tools, and electrical test equipment
• Ability to follow detailed instructions
• Proficiency to work individually, and a team player working with others
• Capability to be a Self-Starter and adaptable to change
• Possess a willingness to learn new skills and enable personal growth

Job Responsibilities:

• Performs preventative maintenance on Press Lines, Casting Equipment, Packing and Paint systems
• Troubleshoot basic hydraulic, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and PLC systems as needed
• Make repairs and replace defective parts
• Maintains building, grounds, and utility systems
• Install or assists with equipment improvements, replacement, or upgrades
• Must be able to obtain Mobile Equipment license. (Forklift, Scissors Lift)
• Must enter required work orders when problems and deficiencies are found
• Complete paperwork as required
• Maintain a clean and organized maintenance shop
• Have a positive attitude and forward-thinking approach to change and drive continuous improvement
• Will be expected to learn new technologies in the following areas: PLC/Electrical systems, Hydraulic/Pneumatic systems, Combustions systems, Motors & Drives, Crane/Mobile equipment systems, Electrostatic painting systems
