Job Summary
The Maintenance Lead is responsible for maintaining all assets in the Plant. Candidates must effectively oversee and manage craftspeople and ensure compliance to external and internal safety standards. Candidates will review open and completed work orders and document findings, actions and feedback. Candidate will oversee preventive maintenance tasks and help identify and implement reliability improvements. Candidate must understand and comply with OSHA and company policies and procedures. This position reports to the Plant Technical Operations Manager and will provide functional direction to the craftsperson assigned to support the Asset Maintenance and Asset Reliability work processes at the plant. Direct reports include the Maintenance Technicians and Planner.

Job Summary

How You Can Be the Impact
- Have knowledge and correctly complete all safety permitting necessary to perform tasks
- Assess the skills of craftsperson and implement personal development plans to improve the overall capability of the organization
- Knowledge of how to diagnose malfunctions using tools and instruments
- Knowledge of various tools that are utilized to check installation
- Read and assess tool and equipment drawings
- Ability to prioritize information used to troubleshoot problems in respective area
- Able to analyses asset reliability and adjust preventive Maintenance plans accordingly to ensure continuous reliability improvements.
What Matters to SABIC
- High School Diploma or equivalent educational diploma. Associates Degree or higher in a technical field.
- Certified Journeyman as a Millwright or Ironworker or Instrument/Electrician with a minimum of 5 years of journeyman experience OR Associate Degree in Industrial Maintenance
- Must have the ability and willingness to work overtime and take call-ins as needed, including nights or weekends
- Demonstrated leadership skills, ability to give encouragement, guidance and - direction to others to improve performance. Prior leadership position desired.
- Has experience developing and optimizing Preventive Maintenance Plans, Equipment reliability overviews and relevant Maintenance performance indicator.
- Ability to use listening and feedback skills to build understanding and effectively manage conflict.
- Ability to provide people the information to perform their assigned roles in written and spoken word.
- An in depth understanding of plant operations, process equipment and the maintenance work processes.
- Motivated and willing to join trainings and continues to develop skills and capabilities
- Experience in Plastic processing operations is a plus
