SIGN-ON BONUS - $2,000 (1/3 after 1 month, 1/3 after 6 months, 1/3 after 1 year)

Position Description: The Maintenance-Laborer is a motivated worker in cleaning, sweeping, and tidying up in a diesel maintenance shop. Making sure all spills are cleaned up and all walkaway kept clear and safe.
Responsibilities:
- Cleaning up spills of oil, hydraulic oil etc.
- Make sure all points of entrance and exit are cleared and always cleaned.
- Sweeping all the bays, walkways, and offices
- Cleaning walls, floors, windows
- Power washing heavy duty trucks, trailers, and equipment
- General Housekeeping and keeping general shop area clean.
- Picking up parts from vendor locations
Requirements:
- Valid Driver’s License required.
- Ability to pick up 40lbs or more.
- Ability to understand and carry out multiple tasks.
The expected hourly pay rate for this position is $21.00.
This is a good-faith estimate of what we expect to pay for this position. The final salary will consider various factors, including experience, ability, and location. Covanta is committed to paying its staff equitably, and these ranges should not be considered career salary limits or caps.
