General Job Summary:
Maintenance Group Leader will work independently and with other plant personnel to perform preventative, predictive, and routine maintenance tasks. They will troubleshoot issues, repair failures of production and facilities equipment, and ensure maximum equipment efficiency and effectiveness. The Maintenance Group Leader will assume the responsibilities of the Maintenance/Facilities Manager in his/her absence. All tasks will be performed while supporting the policies, goals, and objectives of the company.

* Proven leadership skills to lead associates.
* Responsible for organizing and planning the routine maintenance
* Responsible for directing the activities of maintenance staff
* Review and rationalize PM procedures, evaluate, and optimize maintenance routines.
* PLC knowledge
* Good knowledge of maintenance methods and equipment across the disciplines
* Must be familiar with computer systems for tracking PM's
* Ability to communicate with technical specialists
* Responsible for ensuring that all plant and equipment are in top operating conditions and are available for production as needed.
* High level of industrial electrical work, not electrical assembly
* Should have excellent troubleshooting ability, technical knowledge of production equipment, mechanical and industrial electrical equipment/systems, computer operations, and ability to motivate maintenance personal under pressure.
* Responsible for the completion of all maintenance service requests as assigned.
* Follow established company policies and those outlined in the Associate Handbook.
* Assists with other duties as assigned by supervisor/ manager.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Must be able to lead the maintenance staff in the absence of Maintenance/Facilities Manager.
Education
High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Associate degree (A.A.) preferred
Experience
5-7 years related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
