This position is responsible for planning, directing, managing, coordinating, and overseeing the programs for utilization (OOS), maintenance repair of Fleet vehicles, DOT Compliance, Graphics Installation, Fuel Tracking, Inspection Audits, and Relationship with Suppliers. The coordinator will serve as the contact concerning the vehicle fleet and operations.
- Scheduling all regular maintenance on all vehicles
- Provide reports to management on budgeting, schedules, maintenance, and fleet progress.
- Maintain fleet inventory, owned, and leased.
- Ordering urgent or emergency repairs as needed
- Maintaining vehicle licensure and registration
- Strong knowledge/experience of managing maintenance through CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems)
- Must have a hands-on work ethic
- Detailed oriented and organized.
- Proficient computer skills in Excel, word, and data basis
- Experience in troubleshooting and break down analysis
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Work closely with all vendors and towing support.
- Develop methods to decrease cost and improve efficiency
- Exceptional organization, time management and multitasking abilities, keen attention to detail
- Reports to Director of Maintenance with scheduling planned maintenance duties
- High School or GED required, associate degree,
- Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred
- A service-oriented individual with high energy, computer skills, CDL & equipment knowledge
- Ability to respond to continually changing priorities and coordinate multiple projects
- CDL preferred
- Strong customer service, interpersonal, sense of urgency, and communication skills
- Experience with preventative maintenance (CMMS) data, charts
- Transportation Experience
Physical Requirements:
- Position requires the ability to stand, sit at a desk, walking around facility, lifting, or carrying packages up to 50 pounds, utilizing fine dexterity, and reaching, crawling and twisting to inspect equipment
