Job Description:

Sanford Federal Inc. is seeking a qualified and experienced Maintenance Examiner (ME) to join our team. As a Maintenance Examiner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of aircraft maintenance operations. Your expertise and knowledge will contribute to maintaining the highest standards of maintenance practices and compliance with applicable regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate the proficiency and competence of maintenance personnel in performing maintenance tasks and procedures.
• Verify compliance with technical manuals, maintenance procedures, and safety protocols.
• Provide timely and accurate feedback to maintenance personnel to improve their skills and knowledge.
• Collaborate with maintenance supervisors and managers to identify training needs and develop appropriate training programs.
• Stay current with industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in aircraft maintenance.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards, quality assurance measures, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance examinations, findings, and corrective actions.
• Provide support and guidance to maintenance personnel on complex maintenance tasks and troubleshooting.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an aviator.
• Most recent flight in the aircraft, must have been within the previous 12 months to enter the Qualified.
• Workforce. Demonstrated experience as an IP and MTP at the company level or higher.
• Possess a minimum of 1,000 total hours of actual aircraft flight experience (Mission/Design), 250 MTP hours, and either 50 ME hours or two years of experience performing operational duties as an ME (Mission/Design/Series).
• Military Instructors currently training USAACE MTP flight students full-time within the last 60 days but having less than 250 MTP Pilot and/or 50 ME hours in the applicable aircraft, can be considered on a case-by-case basis with approval from the GFR/Program Manager.
• Strong knowledge of aircraft maintenance procedures, technical manuals, and safety protocols.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address maintenance issues effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with maintenance personnel and stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
