We are looking for a MAINTENANCE ELECTRICIAN to join our West Memphis, AR plant. As a Maintenance Electrician with Rinker Materials, you will contribute to one of the nation's largest manufacturers of reinforced concrete pipe, box, bridge, and other related infrastructure products for stormwater and sanitary applications.

About the Role:

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine and preventive maintenance on electrical systems, machinery, and equipment within the concrete plant.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues to identify and implement effective solutions promptly.
  • Conduct repairs and installations of electrical components, wiring, and fixtures as needed.
  • Regularly inspect electrical systems and components to identify potential problems and prevent breakdowns.
  • Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.
  • Collaborate with other maintenance team members and departments to address electrical and mechanical issues.
  • Respond promptly to electrical emergencies and breakdowns, minimizing downtime.
  • Provide training to plant personnel on electrical safety and best practices.
  • Effectively communicate with management and team members regarding electrical maintenance activities and requirements.

About You

We Require:

  • Previous experience in electrical engineering or other related fields.
  • Familiarity with electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals.
  • Familiarity with electrical equipment and hand tools.
  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Business/technical degree preferred or equivalent work experience. One plus years’ experience in a manufacturing plant.
  • Working knowledge of large machine operation, construction of infrastructure.
  • Technical expertise in welding, hydraulics, pneumatics, machining and electronics.
  • Ability to provide clear and concise verbal instructions along with the ability to listen and ask questions to understand points made by others.
  • General computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and database systems.
  • Ability to read and apply information fromplans, blueprints, work instructions and equipment manuals. Diagnostic problem solving techniques. Detail orientation.
  • Mathematical skills and mechanical abilities to diagnose and solve problems.
  • Demonstrated pattern of positive attitude, strong work ethic, and dedication.
  • Must have a valid drivers’ license.
