Job Description: MAINTENANCE ELECTRICIAN POULTRY
Wage:Starting Wage $15/HR & MORE Depending on Experience!
Key Responsibilities:
Installs and repairs electrical apparatus and components of industrial machinery and equipment
Installs power supply wiring and conduit for machines and equipment
Diagnoses and replaces damaged or broken wires and cables and malfunctioning electrical apparatus
Diagnoses and replaces faulty electrical components of machinery and position sensing devices which may require finding suitable replacements
Have knowledge of low and high voltage wiring and code requirements
fluent with control wiring
Familiar with industrial equipment
Familiar with ammonia equipment and electrical components
Be able to lead projects
Know and understand the N.E.C.
Ensures food safety, quality and legality
Assists in other departmental areas as needed
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to work off of a ladder
Must be able to lift 50lb weights consecutively
Must be able to reach and work over head and have the ability to Kneel,crouch, climb and crawl
Must be able to drive a fork lift and truck
Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions
Skills and Knowledge:
Communication skills (listening, feedback, presentation)
Teambuilding and the ability to work through others to accomplish tasks
In-depth knowledge of facility operations, people, products, and equipment
Knowledge of federal, state, and local requirements and guidelines necessary to operating a raw processing facility
Financial analytical skills to estimate costs, do cost-benefit analyses, and investigate reports
Computer skills: blueprints, drawings, layouts, spreadsheets, and powerful, yet simple, presentations
